Parenting can be the toughest job out there. Children are not born with instructions. Most of us do the best we can as a parent.....but sometimes we need help and guidance. We at Youth Services have placed much information on our web site to assist parents of young children and teens. If you need further information or assistance please feel free to call us!

SPRING PROGRAMS
> Loving Discipline <
A 2 day parenting workshop on different ideas for setting limits and appropriate consequences for toddlers and pre-school age.
Babysitting will be available.
> In-School Programs <
Through-out the school year, Youth Services does a variety of in-school programs such as: Querks, Bucket fillers, Team Builders, Peacemakers, All Stars and 123 I Am Me.
WINTER AND SPRING PROGRAM
SNEAK PEAKS!
> Choices <
For 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls. Coming this January thru
March. A Six-week program in the evening.
> At the Heart of the Matter <
A mother/daughter program for 5th and 6th graders. Work on communication and how to stay connected through the pre-teen and teenage years, Coming late winter/early spring.
> Spring Journey Adventure Program <
A program designed for 6th grade students. Same program as
Fall. Students have a choice of either Fall or Spring session.

> In-Between <
For 5th and 6th grade girls. Navigating the pre-teen world can be confusing. A discussion group on how to make the "right decisions," dealing with friends and non-friends, family, pressures of life, etc...
> Worry, anxiety, Panic Reduction Workshops <
A new group for middle school students who have a hard time dealing with stress, worry too much, get anxious about school, friends or family. Looking to start in January.
**Help Needed for Youth Services Programs**
))> Rachel's Challenge After-School Leadership Program<((
High school students interested in assisting in a one-day a week after school program for 5th and 6th graders.
))>Homework Clubs<((
Grade 1 to 4th grade: This year Youth Services will be running a one day a week homework assistance program in the elementary schools. We need middle and high school student volunteers for tutoring. Tutors work with elementary students on homework, reading, math and organizational skills, etc...
5th and 6th grade homework club needs paid tutors between January and May. The tutors must be in high school, have good academic standing and available for the entire length of the program.
))> Assistants for Small Groups Programs<((
We hire students to help with various small group programs and hire babysitters for parenting programs.
