Ellington publishes meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and recordings for the convenience of the public. Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act does NOT require municipalities to post such items on the internet. However, the FOI Act does require such items to be filed and available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk. (See Conn. Gen. Stat. Sec. 1-225.) All meetings are open and accessible to the public. Meetings available for remote or electronic participation are noted on that meeting's agenda.
